The project came into existence in the winter ot 2003. The band was created by Monolithe (vocals) and Asen (guitars, drum programming). Their decision was to play black metal because it's in their veins, and always shall be... In the end of 2004, after a few rehearsals their first song Aegri Somnia is born. Delighted by the work and the synchrony between them, Monolithe and Asen started working on another song. In the beginning of 2005 the song was completed and an initial mix was recorded.
The same year the musicians decided they needed new blood in the band and started looking for a guitar and a bass player. Not after long Rumen (guitars) joined the band. This line-up recorded rough versions of 2 new songs. A couple of months later (in the beginning of 2006) Yavor joined Dimholt as a bass player. This line-up did some rehearsals in September 2006 with help from their friend Stanimir(drums), who soon agreed to become the drummer of the band.
Dimholt have now finished working on their upcoming demo, expected to be released in August 2007. The CD will include Intro and 5 songs.
